Labour Law and Society
The Labour Law and Society stream considers the law relating to the work environment including (but not restricted to) the employment relationship, trade unions, collective and individual employment rights. It also encompasses labour- related equality, human rights, tribunal and immigration issues. Given the international membership of the SLSA, it is hardly surprising that, in addition to those dealing with the UK perspective, there is often an international or comparative dimension to many of the papers. The eclectic mix of topics submitted each year makes for challenging, interesting and informative sessions. We try to be as inclusive as possible in terms of inviting and welcoming presenters and participants in this stream.
