To register to attend the SLSA 2018 conference, please click here. Registration opens on 16 October 2017 at 6pm and closes on 19 March 2018 at 6pm. The rate varies according to when you book with discounts available for early bookings – see below.

PACKAGES
Full 3 day package
3-day packages include attendance at all 3 days of the conference, the conference wine reception, the plenary session, lunches and refreshments. It also includes an option to register for the conference dinner but the cost of the conference dinner is not included in the package. Accommodation must be booked separately (see the accommodation page) and is not included in the package.
Day package: Tuesday
In addition to conference attendance, this day rate includes lunch, refreshments, the wine reception, and the plenary session.
Day package: Wednesday
In addition to conference attendance, delegates will have lunch, refreshments, and the option to register for the conference dinner. The cost of the conference dinner is not included.
Day package: Thursday
In addition to conference attendance, delegates will have refreshments and the option to register for a boxed lunch at no additional cost.
Postgraduate Rates
For the purposes of registering for the conference, a postgraduate student is a delegate who is registered for a postgraduate degree at a higher education institution, and who does not also hold a full-time academic appointment at a higher education institution, or other full time job.
The University of Bristol seeks to minimize food waste and will work with Food Share during this conference to deal with any food waste generated. To help us reduce food waste, the registration process will include the option to register for lunch on the last day of the conference so that we only provide the lunches that are required.
Rates vary according to when you book and the package selected. The conference dinner is not included in the package and is available at an extra charge. Accommodation is not included in any conference package and must be booked separately by delegates. Please see our accommodation page for details.

Postgraduate students may apply for a bursary to cover reasonable travel costs associated with attending the conference. A postgraduate student is a delegate who is registered for a postgraduate degree at a higher education institution, and who does not also hold a full-time academic appointment at a higher education institution, or other full time job.
The bursary scheme is now closed and we will not be considering anymore applications. Twelve bursaries have been awarded for the 2018 conference.
If you need to cancel your registration, refunds are available up until 6pm on 19 March 2018 as follows:
Cancellation before 6pm on 16 February 2018: Full refund
Cancellation before 6pm on 19 March 2018: 75% refund
